Parametric OpenSCAD Planter Model

Job ID: 39919456

Budget: $10 – $30 USD

I have a clear side-view photo of a sleek home planter that I’d like translated into OpenSCAD. The goal is a clean, fully parametric design so I can resize it whenever I need a new pot. Drain hole in the middle, bottom appears integrated, but is separate and unattachable for draining.

Key points of the job
• Work directly from the side-view reference I’ll supply.
• Build the planter in OpenSCAD with a tidy variables section at the top—height, width, depth, wall thickness and any other dimension you feel is essential should be adjustable by simply changing a number.
• Code must compile without warnings and export a watertight STL.
• I plan to print in a glossy filament, so gentle curves and surfaces should be considered; avoid tiny facets that ruin a sheen.
• Well-commented source is essential so I can follow the logic and tweak it down the road.

Deliverables
1. The .scad file with clearly labeled parameters
2. A sample STL generated from the default values to confirm geometry

If you’ve done parametric models, especially planters or similar household items, I’d love to see a screenshot or two. Looking forward to collaborating and printing the first glossy prototype!
