Outdoor Finnish Sauna Design

The goal is to produce a complete set of drawings and specifications for a traditional Finnish sauna that will sit outdoors and comfortably hold 3–4 people. I already have a spot picked out in the yard; what I need now is a clear, build-ready plan that covers every detail from footings to roof vent.

Scope of work
• Layout: internal bench arrangement, door swing, heater placement and safe clearances.
• Construction drawings: foundation or platform, framing, insulation, vapor barrier, exterior cladding, roof profile, and any glazing.
• MEP notes: electrical load and wiring route for the heater, lighting, ventilation path, and drainage if required.
• Material schedule: timber species and dimensions, fasteners, insulation type, finishes, and hardware.
• Visuals: a couple of 3-D views or renderings so I can show local authorities and my contractor.

Acceptance criteria
– All dimensions in metric and imperial.
– Drawings delivered in PDF plus original editable format (DWG, SKP, or REVIT).
– Heater sizing complies with standard Finnish-sauna ratios for a medium, 3–4-person room.
– Ventilation path illustrated clearly with intake and exhaust points.

If you have experience designing backyard saunas and can supply stamped drawings for permit submission, note that in your proposal; otherwise solid, buildable plans are fine.
