Oilfield PDC Drill Bit Design
Budget: ₹150,000 – ₹250,000 INR
I need a complete design package for a new PDC drill bit intended for oil-and-gas wells. The scope runs from initial concept sketches right through to manufacturing-ready 3D models and performance simulations, so I can hand the files straight to a machine shop without extra re-work. You’re free to choose the CAD platform—SolidWorks, Inventor, CATIA or a similar industry-standard tool—as long as the native file and a neutral format (STEP/IGES) are included.
Key expectations
• Geometry that matches common oilfield connection standards (API regular, etc.)
• Cutter layout, blade count and hydraulics optimised for medium-to-hard formations
• Finite-element and CFD reports demonstrating mechanical strength, bit balance, flow and cuttings evacuation
• Detailed 2D drawings with tolerances, material specs and bill of materials
• A short design note explaining all key design choices
There’s no hard deadline, so take the time you need to produce a robust, manufacturable design; steady progress updates every week or two are fine with me. If questions come up about formation data or operating parameters, I’ll supply whatever well information you need.
