OSPF Visual Scene in CoSpaces
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
Designing a Scene in CoSpaces Edu to Explain the OSPF Protocol
Description:
I would like to implement a simplified scene using the CoSpaces Edu platform that explains how the OSPF protocol works. The project doesn't require deep networking experience, as the commands and scripts are already available.
Required Details:
1. Basic Scene Setup:
• Add 3 routers (R1, R2, R3), each connected to a PC.
• Connect the routers with connections.
2. Labels:
• Label the elements (R1, R2, R3, PC1, PC2, PC3).
• Add text panels above the routers to display OSPF commands.
3. Packets & LSAs:
• A green sphere to represent a packet traveling between devices.
• Small colored spheres (LSAs) to represent the exchange of information between routers.
4. Interaction:
• A button labeled "Activate OSPF."
• Before pressing the button: Packets are not moving and the billboards are hidden.
• After pressing the button: The billboards (OSPF commands) appear + the billboards (packets and LSAs) move between routers and devices.
5. Ready-made scripts:
• OSPF commands for each router will be provided ready-made; just add them to the billboards.
⏳ Implementation time:
The project is ideally completed within 5 days.
Requirements:
• Basic experience with CoSpaces Edu (adding elements, changing colors, using billboards, programming with simple code blocks).
• Knowledge of basic networking concepts.
• Project ready for use.
