Job ID: 40611260

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

Project Overview: "Mortar Man" Recurring Sales Award

We are looking to develop a high-quality, professional award for our sales team that honors the masonry trade. Our goal is a "turn-key" solution for a low-volume, recurring quarterly production run (4–10 units per year), and we are looking for a creative partner to help refine the design, manufacturing, and fulfillment process to ensure executive-level quality.

Project Constraints & Preferences:

Budget: We are targeting a budget in the range of approximately $800 per unit.

Scale: We envision the award standing between 6 to 9 inches in height.

Form Factor: It should be suitable for a professional desk setting. A key priority is that the piece feels substantial with enough "heft" to convey high quality and durability.

While we have a strong vision for the award, we are very open to your professional recommendations to optimize the design for feasibility and aesthetic impact. We are currently exploring the following design direction:

The Figurine: We envision a kneeling mason holding a trowel. We are interested in exploring fabrication methods (such as SLA 3D printing) and finishes (like electroplated brass) that achieve a highly detailed, premium metallic feel. We are open to your suggestions on the best materials and techniques to achieve this.

The Base: We are drawn to the aesthetic of a substantial, solid wood base (such as black walnut) to provide appropriate weight and an organic, executive quality. We would appreciate your input on materials that provide a similar feel.

Design Details: We would love to incorporate specific trade elements, such as an integrated mortar tray or a distinct, contrasting trowel, and we welcome your creative input on how to best integrate these features into the structure.

Personalization: We plan to include a custom-engraved plaque as a central element of the base and are open to your advice on the best materials and mounting methods to complement the overall design.
