Modern Clothing Showroom Layout
Budget: $750 – $1,500 CAD
We are looking for support to develop a layout for a retail showroom. We are carrying Indian bridal wear and party wear. The space that we are looking at is approximately 32’ x 40’ and a fairly blank canvas.
We are looking for someone to help us conceptualize showroom flow, location of fitting rooms, how to incorporate storage, flow, and layout of garment racks, incorporation of signage and branding, as well layout for display and decorative items.
Scope of work
• Produce a scalable floor plan that zones merchandise, fitting rooms, storage and staff circulation.
• Suggest lighting layers (ambient, accent, task) that guide shoppers organically while highlighting key collections.
• Supply 3D perspectives or rendered elevations so the team can visualise proportion, flow and sight-lines before build-out.
Acceptance criteria
– Layout must demonstrate an unobstructed path that encourages browsing without crowding.
– Aesthetics align with modern and minimalist cues (no ornate moulding or heavy textures).
– Drawings delivered in an editable format
Please attach past work that showcases comparable retail or interior projects so I can gauge style compatibility and technical depth. A concise note explaining how you typically approach customer-centric spatial planning is welcome, though I’m evaluating mainly on demonstrated experience.
We do not need support choosing fixtures, furniture, or design elements
This is this is purely to understand how to lay out a retail showroom.
