I’ve just moved into a new house and want the main bedroom to feel fresh, cohesive, and unmistakably modern. I already have the room’s measurements and photos; what I need now is expert guidance on two fronts: an efficient furniture layout that maximises flow and function, and a colour scheme that ties everything together without feeling cold or generic.
Here’s what I’d like from you:
• A scaled floor-plan or 3-D visual that shows optimal placement for a king bed, storage, and a small seating nook.
• A modern colour palette with paint codes plus one or two material suggestions that reinforce the palette.
• A short rationale explaining how the layout and colours support comfort, balance, and the modern aesthetic.
I’ll share the floor plan, ceiling height, window positions, and a couple of inspiration images as soon as we start. If you prefer working in SketchUp, AutoCAD, or even hand-sketched concepts, that’s fine—just deliver clear visuals I can hand to my contractor.
