Project Overview
I am looking for a skilled CAD Designer or Mechanical Drafter to transform my initial concepts into professional, fabrication-ready drawings. I have a set of hand-drawn sketches and reference images that define the dimensions and aesthetic of the project.
The goal is to produce a complete set of technical documents that I can hand over to a fabricator for production.
Scope of Work
2D Drafting: Create detailed technical drawings including top, side, and front views with precise dimensions, tolerances, and material callouts.
3D Modeling: Develop a high-fidelity 3D model based on the provided sketches.
Design for Manufacturing (DfM): Ensure the designs are practical for fabrication (e.g., laser cutting, welding, or machining).
Revisions: Incorporate minor adjustments after the first draft to ensure accuracy.
Deliverables Required
2D Files: PDF and DWG/DXF formats (suitable for laser cutting or CNC).
3D Files: STEP, IGES, or the native source file (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, etc.).
Assembly Drawing: (Optional - include if there are multiple parts) A clear guide on how the parts fit together.
