2-Minute 3D Animation: Autonomous 2-Stage Snowblower Robot

Job ID: 40362472

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

2-Minute 3D Animation: Autonomous 2-Stage Snowblower Robot
Project Description:
I am looking for a talented 3D animator to create a 120-second (2-minute) concept animation for an autonomous snowblower project. You will be provided with a base model image and reference videos of a 2-stage snowblower. Your task is to "retrofit" this base model with robotic components and animate it in a professional product-presentation style.

Key Requirements:

Modeling/Retrofitting: Add components to the base snowblower: LiDAR, Camera, status lights, 2x rear-bottom drive motors, 2x 6-inch front swivel casters (behind the bucket), a 1-inch flexible squeegee blade on the bucket edge, and a rear-bottom salt spray system.
Part 1 (0-60s): Feature Showcase. Close-up technical reveals of the rotating auger, 2-stage throwing system, motorized chute rotation, drive motors, front swivel wheels, and salt spray activation.
Part 2 (60-120s): Operational Demo. Show the robot clearing a snow-covered sidewalk. Demonstrate autonomous behavior: detecting a person and a car with UI bounding boxes (HUD style), flashing a warning light, beeping, stopping to wait for the path to clear, and then resuming operation.
Deliverables: High-quality MP4 video (1080p/60fps preferred) and the final robot model assembly exported as an STL file.
Visual Style:
Clean, industrial, and practical. Think "Product Launch" meets "Technical Prototype." The motion should feel mechanically heavy and realistic, not cartoonish. Reference animation will be provided to the selected freelancer.

Required Skills & Keywords:
To ensure the freelancer has the right technical background, I recommend listing these skills:

3D Animation: Core skill for the 120-second sequence and camera work.
3D Modelling (Hard Surface): For adding the industrial robotic components and modifying the snowblower body.
Mechanical Rigging: Crucial for making the auger, chute, swivel wheels, and flexible squeegee behave correctly.
Motion Graphics/VFX: For the UI overlays (detection boxes, HUD) and particle effects (snow discharge and salt mist).
Product Visualization: Experience in "explainer" style videos for hardware or machinery.
Software Proficiency: Blender, 3ds Max, Maya, or Cinema 4D. Knowledge of Unreal Engine for high-quality real-time rendering is also a plus.
CAD/STL Export: Ability to ensure the final assembly is clean enough for a valid STL export.
