Minimalist 10x8 Kitchen Design
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I’m revamping a tight 12 ft × 8 ft kitchen and want a smart, minimalist layout that fits Indian-style cooking for up to ten people. Two doors face each other and a window sits on the same wall, so the plan must respect those fixed openings while still squeezing in every appliance and plenty of organised storage.
Key inclusions that must appear in the final layout and 3-D visuals:
• Gas stove with built-in oven, matching hood
• Microwave oven, dishwasher, food processor station
• Double-door fridge (smaller top, larger bottom)
• Dedicated niches: water matki / gada, daily milk in open space, masala box, gas cylinder, dustbin
• Cabinets and pull-outs sized for groceries, oils, spices and heavy steel utensils for ten diners
• Knife strip or block in a safe, ergonomic spot
• Countertops finished in granite to keep maintenance low while staying true to the minimalist look
I’d like a clear floor plan showing traffic flow through both doors, elevations for each wall, and a few photorealistic renders that demonstrate lighting and material choices. Optimising vertical space, hidden organisers and modular cabinetry solutions will be key.
Please share past work—particularly small-footprint kitchens or Indian cooking setups—so I can gauge style fit. CAD files (DWG or equivalent), high-resolution renders, and a brief rationale for zoning decisions will complete the hand-over. Looking forward to seeing how you make every inch count.
