Mercedes CLC Hatch Spoiler Design
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I’m looking for a designer who can turn my concept for a rear-window hatch that transitions into a spoiler for a Mercedes-Benz CLC into a print-ready model. The part must sit over the glass, bolt to the boot lid, and be taped to the window, so the underside needs properly engineered contact pads and bolt bosses that follow the curvature of the car.
You’ll receive:
• multiple reference photos of the look I’m after. Some are AI images i have created.
• an existing STL of the CLC body (quality unknown but useful for dimensional checks)
Printing constraints you’ll need to keep in mind:
• I’ll be using an FDM printer and will run ABS filament
• the final piece will be paint match to my car so should require minimal post-processing to achieve a smooth surface, so plan wall thicknesses, break-apart sections, and orientation accordingly.
Deliverables
‣ Clean, watertight STL (or STEP plus STL) split into build-volume-friendly sections with alignment features
‣ Simple assembly guide showing bolt and tape locations and recommended print settings (layer height, infill, supports)
‣ Confirmation of glass and boot-lid mating surfaces with clear dimensions
