3D Mechanical Part Modeling
Budget: $250 – $750 CAD
I need a precise 3D model of a mechanical component that I will later send to manufacturers, so dimensional accuracy and clean, watertight geometry are essential. All my hand sketches, dimensions, and functional notes will be provided up front. Your task is to translate those inputs into a fully-detailed CAD model aimed at mechanical part design, not simple visualization.
The final file I must receive is a STEP/STP export so the shop can open it in any mainstream package for CAM and tolerance review. If you build in SolidWorks, Inventor, Fusion 360, or similar, feel free to include the native file as a bonus for future edits, but the STEP is the required hand-off.
Deliverables
• Finished 3D part model compliant with my dimensions
• STEP/STP file ready for manufacture
Acceptance criteria
The model must open error-free in SolidWorks’ import diagnostics, respect all specified tolerances, and show no non-manifold edges. Two minor revision rounds are included to hit those marks.
