3DS MAX ONLY Character Cleaning mesh and Body Weightpainting

Job ID: 39731797

Budget: €30 – €250 EUR

I have a nearly-finished humanoid character built in 3ds Max and now need that last professional pass before it goes into animation. The priorities are straightforward: tighten the topology where it has stretched or inconsistent quads, remove any stray vertices or hidden artifacts you find along the way, and finish the body weight painting so the Skin modifier deforms cleanly in common joint tests (shoulders, elbows, hips, knees and fingers).

Everything must stay inside 3ds Max—no external packages—so please do all edits, skinning and exports in the same scene file I will supply. The mesh is already UV-mapped and textured; those shouldn’t change. When you return the file, I should be able to drop a biped or CAT rig on it, rotate joints to 90°, and see smooth deformation without collapsing volumes or obvious creases.

Deliverables
• Updated .max file with corrected topology and cleaned mesh
• Skin-weighted version of the same file, ready for rigging tests
• Short viewport turntable (playblast is fine) showing joint bends at key areas

If you spot other small cleanup wins—minor edge-flow tweaks or artifact removal—I’m open to them so long as the schedule stays tight.
