Lid Shape Design Modification
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I need to update the existing “Part G” lid by changing its overall shape. The current model is already complete in CAD; what’s missing is a fresh geometry that meets the same fit, clearances, and attachment points while giving the part a new silhouette.
Here is what I’m after:
• Take my native file (STEP/SolidWorks format) and re-work only the lid body. All hinge snaps, screw bosses, and sealing ribs must remain in precisely the same locations and tolerances.
• Present two or three alternative shapes so I can choose the final direction before we lock in the design.
• Once approved, supply the updated 3D model and 2-D drawing with critical dimensions ready for tool-maker review.
You are free to use SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or a comparable parametric modeller as long as the export stays fully editable in STEP. Please keep wall-thickness uniform and draft angles mould-ready; I’ll run the part through flow analysis later, so clean surfaces matter.
I can share the current assembly the moment we start and will be available for quick feedback.
