Leak-Proof Boroscope Pipe Adapter
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have a 6 mm push-rod boroscope camera that must be fed into water pipes ranging from 25 mm to 32 mm internal diameter while the line stays pressurised. I need a plastic adapter I can 3-D print that solves three things at once: it threads straight onto the pipe via a ½-inch male connection, it seals completely so no water escapes under pressure, and it still lets the camera cable slide smoothly in and out.This adapter needs to be filled with food grade grease as able to slide in and out smooth but the design should be able to hold the grease from leak and the water pressure as well.
Your task is to create the CAD model and supply print-ready STL (or equivalent) files. I’m picturing an internal chamber with a reliable O-ring or gland-type mechanism to give the leak-proof seal, combined with a form of quick-connect thread that keeps installation fuss-free. The design must not kink or pinch the cable; flexible, low-friction movement is critical.
