3D Layered Japanese Wave Illustration

Job ID: 40411034

Budget: $30 – $60 USD

The piece I need is a dramatic nighttime seascape rendered as a layered paper-cut illustration in the traditional Japanese style. Think of Hokusai’s movement and rhythm, but rebuilt as stacked, laser-ready layers that create real depth when assembled.

Scene
• A towering, foam-tipped wave frozen mid-crash.
• Deep-blue moon hanging low on the horizon with scattered stars.
• Strictly monochromatic blues throughout: every layer, from the darkest ocean trench to the palest crest, should sit within that single hue family for seamless gradients once stacked.

Detail & Layers
I want a highly detailed treatment—delicate foam curls, subtle wood-block style line work, and intricate patterning in the troughs. The more micro-cuts that sell motion and texture, the better. Plan for enough separate layers (usually 6-10 works well) to achieve a pronounced 3-D shadow effect when each sheet is offset by spacers.

Deliverables
1. An editable vector file (AI or SVG) with each layer clearly labeled.
2. A ready-to-cut version for craft machines (consolidated SVG or DXF).
3. A flattened preview PNG so I can visualize the final stacked piece.

Acceptance
All layers must align perfectly when centered, no orphaned shapes, and color swatches limited to the approved blue palette. Provide at least one round of revisions to tweak layer count or small pattern elements if needed.
