Laser-Cut Industrial Caddy Design
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I want a compact, industrial-style office supply caddy that can be cut from plywood on a standard CO₂ laser and snapped together in minutes—no glue if possible, just clean finger joints and tight tab-and-slot connections. The core feature is a single, smoothly-sliding drawer sized for pens, clips, and sticky notes.
The design must balance practicality and visual appeal: crisp lines, subtle ventilation slots for the drawer, and a handle cut-out that echoes the rugged industrial look. All parts have to nest efficiently on common sheet sizes to minimise waste.
Deliverables
• Production-ready CAD files in DXF and SVG formats
• A layered drawing showing cut, score, and engrave operations with clear kerf compensation
• An exploded view or short PDF guide so anyone on the shop floor can assemble it quickly
• Up to two revision rounds to fine-tune tolerances, aesthetics, or material thickness changes

The drawer must slide freely without wobble, all joints press-fit on 3 mm plywood without sanding, and total material use should not exceed one 600 × 400 mm sheet. Provide final files locked to metric units and labelled clearly so I can send them straight to the laser.
