Large Rectangular Koi Pond Design

I’m ready to transform my backyard with a striking, rectangular koi pond that will hold well over 1,000 gallons of water. The concept must feel balanced and contemporary, yet still allow the koi to thrive year-round.

Key elements I need incorporated:
• A dramatic, tiered waterfall that feeds the pond and masks pump noise
• Subtle, energy-efficient underwater lighting to showcase the fish at night

I already have a level space set aside and rough measurements, so I’ll provide those once we start. What I need from you are detailed design documents—dimensioned plans, a 3D rendering or SketchUp model that lets me visualise the final look, plus a concise equipment list covering pumps, filtration and lighting components. If you prefer AutoCAD, Revit or another CAD tool, that’s fine—as long as the output is clear and construction-ready.

Acceptance criteria
1. Scaled plan with at least two sectional drawings highlighting depth variations and footing details
2. Waterfall layout showing pump location, head height and flow rate calculations
3. Lighting layout indicating fixture positions, lumen levels and wiring conduit routes
4. List of recommended hardware (make/model) with sizing justifications
