Infrastructure Design Coordination Lead
Budget: $10,000 – $20,000 USD
I’m looking for a seasoned Design Manager who can jump straight into a live, multi-disciplinary infrastructure assignment and take full ownership of the roads and utilities packages. Your mission is to streamline every design cycle so that quality control and approvals are no longer a bottleneck.
You’ll be the central point between our civil engineers, structural specialists, and BIM/GIS modellers, steering them through each submission, review, and re-issue until every sheet and model meets international standards. Day to day, that means running design reviews, closing technical gaps, coordinating IFC and BIM exchanges, and keeping AutoCAD / Civil 3D files in perfect sync with the federated model. Stakeholder communication is just as critical; you’ll brief the client, chase comments, and secure formal approvals while maintaining a rock-solid QA/QC trail.
I need someone with at least seven years’ experience managing large civil or infrastructure designs, proven leadership on roads and utility corridors, and the confidence to enforce design compliance from concept to IFC. Immediate availability is a huge plus because the next submission window is approaching fast.
Acceptance criteria:
• A fully coordinated set of road and utility design drawings and BIM models issued on schedule.
• All design review comments closed out and logged in our QA/QC register.
• Formal client approval letters secured for each stage before we move to the next.
