I have an industrial-machinery component that must be developed in Catia V5 from a set of basic sketches. The part will be formed from stainless steel, so every bend, flange and relief needs to reflect realistic sheet-metal behaviour.
Starting with my dimensions, build the complete 3D model in Catia V5 Sheet Metal, define accurate bend radii and K-factor, then create the unfolded flat pattern ready for laser cutting. Include both folded and flat views in a clear production drawing so the fabricator can move straight to manufacturing without further conversion.
Deliverables
• Native Catia V5 file (part or assembly) with a fully editable feature tree
• PDF drawing that shows folded view, flat pattern, bend lines, critical dimensions and stainless-steel call-out
Acceptance will be based on dimensional fidelity to the sketches (±0.1 mm), correct material settings, and a clean flat pattern free of overlaps or self-intersections.
