3D Industrial Piping Design in AutoCAD
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I have an industrial process line that needs to be laid out in AutoCAD as a full 3-D model. The scope covers every visible element of the pipework — all pipes and fittings together with the corresponding valves, flanges, supports and brackets. I will supply P&IDs, line schedules and overall equipment locations; your task is to turn that information into an accurate spatial model that I can later extract isometrics and fabrication drawings from.
The finished deliverable should be a clean, well-layered AutoCAD 3D file (.dwg) reflecting real-world dimensions and clear centre-line routing, ready for clash detection and onward detailing. If you use Plant 3D, please keep the catalogue consistent so that parts lists translate correctly; vanilla AutoCAD solids are fine too, provided they remain editable.
Before we start, I’d like one short sample run—perhaps a single line routing—to confirm style and level of detail. Once approved, you can proceed with the remainder of the model.
