Industrial Installation Modeling in Navisworks

Budget: €1,500 – €3,000 EUR

I need an experienced MEP modeler to add cable trays, ladders, brackets and field mesh
trays to an existing 3D model of a 4-berth marine loading platform. The deliverable will
be reviewed against my existing routing schedule and tray sizing calculation.

SCOPE
- Add ~400 m of cable tray and ladder runs across 4 jetties (mirrored A&B / C&D)
- 3 stacked tray paths per route (Process I/O, Exi blue-marked, ESD/Safety) per IEC 60079-14
- ~32 JB cluster locations with mesh field drops to instruments
- Niedax KR ladder + GR mesh tray, hot-dip galvanized (mix of F and FT finishes)
- All brackets, elbows, tees, reducers, earthing straps from the Niedax Revit family library

INPUT FILES I PROVIDE
- Existing NWD model (Navisworks 2024+)
- Original Revit / DWG source files for context
- PDF with annotated screenshots showing routing intent (already prepared)
- Cable tray sizing calculation (Excel) with widths/heights/finishes per segment
- Cable routing schedule (Excel) per loop with JB locations
- Tray bill of quantities

DELIVERABLES
- Updated Revit (or source authoring tool) file with all trays and ladders
- Exported NWC + final NWD with the new content merged into the federated model
- Viewpoint set (one per jetty + one per level + clash-resolution viewpoints)
- Updated BOM Excel with as-modeled quantities vs. design BOM
- 2 revision rounds included; further revisions billed hourly at your stated rate

REQUIREMENTS
- Experience with Revit MEP cable tray modeling on industrial / oil & gas / chemical projects
- Working knowledge of Navisworks federation and clash detection workflow
- Ability to match an existing project coordinate system and elevation datum
- Familiarity with cable tray segregation principles for hazardous areas (preferred)
- Confidentiality — must sign a basic NDA before receiving the model

TIMELINE
2 weeks from project start. Revisions within 1 week of first delivery.

HOW TO APPLY
1. Share ONE example where you added cable trays to an EXISTING federated 3D model
(not a green-field design). Screenshots or NWD viewer link is fine.
2. Confirm which authoring tool you will use (Revit / Plant 3D / other) and your
experience with the Niedax family library.
3. Quote either an hourly rate OR a fixed price for the full scope (my estimate is
roughly 50–70 hours of work). Indicate which you prefer.
4. Confirm you can sign an NDA before receiving any project files.
