Industrial Drainage Pit Grate Design
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I need detailed design drawings for an industrial-grade drainage pit and matching grate that meet all relevant Australian requirements. The pit will be installed in a heavy-use environment, so every element—from overall geometry to grate pattern—must satisfy the appropriate load-rating classes while also providing reliable anti-slip performance.
Material is flexible. I am open to your recommendation once you have considered cost, corrosion resistance, manufacturing practicality and long-term maintenance. Stainless steel, cast iron, polymer composites or any alternative you propose can be evaluated, provided the finished design still meets the specified load class and slip resistance goals.
I will supply site parameters and hydraulic data once the project starts. From you I expect:
• Fully dimensioned CAD drawings (plan, section and isometric) of the pit and grate
• A brief design report summarising compliance with the Australian codes and the chosen load rating class and anti-slip criteria
• A simple fabrication or moulding guide so the manufacturer can price and produce the unit accurately
