Project: Photorealistic Jungle Environment for Immersive Projection Setup

We are a non-profit organization preparing an immersive jungle projection for an event. The canvas size is very large (approx. 10,424 × 4,720 px, split across 4–5 surfaces for walls and floor).

Deadline: We need the final deliverables within 3 weeks.

Scope of Work
We are looking for a talented 3D/environment artist to design and animate a stylized photorealistic jungle environment that will be projection-mapped in a venue. The final content will be played through Resolume Arena, so the deliverables must be formatted accordingly. Idea is that the 3D box (the venue) will be "an open space in the jungle".

Key Environment Elements
• Back wall → Jungle backdrop with vines partially covering a “screen” (HDMI live input will be projected here). Needs an alpha layer for vines, so the live video feed looks naturally integrated.
• Right wall → Jungle continues, inside on the side we somewhere look over the shoulder of a bunch of Malaysian monkeys watching an old TV watching sponsor logos appear on the screen (this will be placeholder, here we place extra video input inside Resolum)
• Left wall → Jungle trees continue, somewhere hangs a rustic laptop or monitor hanging in some vines, which will feature another placeholder for a live web app feed (via Spout) - we will connect this in resolum.
• Floor → Dense leaf bed, with optional subtle insect activity (ants, beetles), only if
• General environment → Dense foliage, tall trees, lianas, mist, light rays for atmosphere, maybe top top could show sky with even some Kuala lumpur city or maybe not and just a slowly changing whether.

Animations & Loops
• Alpha overlays (transparent ProRes4444 or PNG sequences) for butterflies, birds, swaying vines, occasional monkeys, insects, or just make one big one hour long animation where some of these activities happen as if it looks "at random" because the loop will be 1 hour long.

• Balance of slow calming movements (tree sway, light rays, mist) and active dynamic moments (birds flying across, insects crawling).
- once every hour (the loop should be approx an hour) a monkey should go across all three walls (left, front (backwall), right)

Output Requirements
• A 1-hour looping video, cut into 4 (or 7) perfectly synchronized files (one for each projection slice: left wall, front wall, right wall, floor). Or cut to all 7 individual projections (see attached file for dimensions)
•All video files must be aligned to the millisecond to ensure seamless playback when mapped in Resolume.
•Resolutions and aspect ratios per slice will be provided (we already have the mapping specifications from the venue).
•Final files in ProRes (with alpha where needed).

Ideal Skills & Experience
• Strong skills in 3D modeling, texturing, and environment design (Blender, Unreal, or similar).
• Experience with immersive projection mapping projects.
• Ability to create both photorealistic assets and stylized animation loops.
• Understanding of video workflows for Resolume Arena (or similar VJ/projection software).
• Ability to reuse existing assets (models, textures, stock loops) where possible to save time and budget.

Deliverables
• Full jungle environment rendered as long-loop video sequences.
• Separate alpha layers for overlays (e.g., vines in front of the HDMI screen).
• Source files (Blender/Unreal/etc.) for future edits.

Notes
• We are an NGO, so efficiency is important. Where existing stock assets can be reused, please incorporate them.
• Creative freedom is welcome, as long as the jungle atmosphere is immersive and playful.
