Image to 3D Pop-up Card

I will give you a single flat image and need it transformed into a realistic, fully engineered 3-D pop-up card intended purely as an artistic display piece. Your job is to interpret the artwork, work out the folds and layers, and create a prototype that opens and closes smoothly while preserving the image’s realism and depth.

When the prototype is ready, film a short clip that clearly shows the card being opened and closed so I can review the mechanics in motion. After approval, deliver an editable Adobe Illustrator file (*.ai) with every element on its own layer—art, cut lines, score lines, and assembly guides—so the design can be reproduced without further adjustment.

Acceptance criteria:
• Video demonstrates a clean, snag-free pop-up action and faithful rendering of the original image.
• AI file is neatly organised, print-ready, and includes clear cut/score separation.

If you normally build pop-ups using Illustrator, InDesign, or a plotter/laser cutter (Cricut, Silhouette, Glowforge, etc.), just let me know; whichever method you prefer is fine as long as the final files and video meet the spec.
