Hull Scaling & Stability Analysis

Job ID: 39807275

Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹2,500 INR

I’m providing the existing 3-D model of the DTMB 5415 hull together with its current principal dimensions. The task begins in Rhino, where I need the geometry uniformly re-scaled—length, breadth and draft all change proportionally—so the new “L B T” values match the figures I will supply the moment we start.

Once the resized surface is ready, import it into DelftShip and run a Lackenby transformation to refine the displacement distribution while keeping the new principal dimensions intact. When the transformed hull is fair and watertight, export it for the next stage.

The final step happens in Maxsurf:
• Generate an intact-stability booklet covering hydrostatics, GZ curves and compliance with basic criteria.
• Produce a resistance and powering prediction, using both Holtrop-Mennen and Savitsky where appropriate, with clear assumptions on sea state, displacement and trim.

Deliverables are the updated Rhino file, DelftShip project file after the Lackenby run, a concise stability report (PDF) and the resistance/powering spreadsheet or Maxsurf output package.

Please respond with a brief outline of your relevant Rhino, DelftShip and Maxsurf experience; that alone will let me shortlist quickly and get the files over to you.
