Household Item Prototype 3D Design

Job ID: 40276365

Budget: $10 – $30 USD

I’m bringing a new household item to market and need a skilled 3D designer who can turn my sketches and dimensions into a production-ready model. This is strictly product design, with the end goal of delivering a prototype that a manufacturer can pick up without additional re-work.

You’ll be translating my concept into a clean, watertight CAD model, paying close attention to real-world constraints such as draft angles, wall thickness, and standard tolerances. I’m comfortable collaborating through SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or a comparable parametric tool as long as the output can be supplied in STEP/IGES alongside the original source file.

To keep us aligned, here’s what I consider complete:

• Final parametric 3D model suitable for injection-molding or similar mass-production methods
• Exported manufacturing files (STEP or IGES) plus a high-resolution render for visual reference
• A short note on material recommendations and any critical assembly considerations

Expect a couple of iterative reviews where we fine-tune fit, appearance, and manufacturability. If you have experience guiding products from CAD to physical prototype, let’s talk—I’m ready to get this moving right away.
