Home Flight Sim Cockpit Panel – Engraved Faceplate (Fusion + STL)
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Create a 3D-printable replica cockpit faceplate for the APU / GEN EXT PWR panel using the reference images I provide.
The panel must be designed for Bambu X1 Carbon + AMS and use engraved (recessed) markings only — no raised text. Engraving includes both text labels and all schematic linework/icons shown in the references, and the engraved lines must be FDM-printable (avoid hairline strokes). Include the correct faceplate outline, major cut-outs, and simple mounting through-holes.
The final model must fit within 230 × 230 mm and be designed to print flat. Deliver Fusion 360 .f3d plus print-ready STL(s) — preferably two STLs (base and top skin) for easy AMS two-colour printing (white base + brown (RAL 8025) skin, with engraving cutting through the skin to reveal white).
This is a pilot panel; more panels will follow if successful.
Revisions / iterations:
Please include up to 2 revision rounds after the first draft (based on my feedback from a quick test slice/print). Typical revisions would be minor alignment, engraving depth/line thickness, or hole placement tweaks.
