Project Description:
Hello,
I am looking for a 3D modeler to create models of four robot characters, based on the attached image.
The goal is to obtain four high-quality "digital sculptures" that faithfully replicate the characters. It is very important to note that the models must be delivered in the exact pose shown in the image, not in a neutral pose for animation.
Key Specifications (Important):
Pose: Each robot must be modeled and delivered in the exact, specific pose it has in the reference image. They should not be in a T-pose or A-pose.
Lightbulb Head: The head of each robot should be a lightbulb shape, but made of a solid, white, and opaque (matte) material. It should not be glass or transparent.
Filament: The filament that would normally be inside the lightbulb must be omitted entirely. It should not be modeled.
Scope of Work:
Model the four robot characters in 3D, faithfully following the image.
Ensure that each model captures the dynamic pose and personality shown in the concept art.
Apply basic color materials for the body of each robot and the matte white material for the head.
Model Requirements:
Topology: Clean and efficient topology is required. Although the models are for a fixed pose, a high-quality mesh is valued.
UV Maps: Not strictly necessary if complex textures will not be applied, but it is a plus if the models include them correctly unwrapped.
Detail: The model must be detailed and faithful to the concept, respecting the joints and the shape of the hands/claws.
Deliverables:
The 4 final 3D models (each in its pose) in standard formats such as .FBX and .OBJ.
The source project file from your 3D modeling software (e.g., .BLEND, .MAX, .MB, etc.).
Required Skills:
Solid experience in 3D character modeling and digital sculpting.
Proficiency in professional 3D modeling software such as Blender, Maya, ZBrush, etc.
A strong ability to interpret a 2D concept and replicate it with high fidelity in 3D, especially regarding the pose and silhouette.
