Project Brief – Yoga Mat CG1 CGI Mockup
Objective:
Produce a high-fidelity CGI product model (CG1) of a yoga mat for commercial e-commerce use (Amazon & website), ensuring dimensional accuracy, realistic material behaviour, and consistency across colour variants.
Input Assets (to be supplied):
Reference photographs of the physical product
Close-up images of surface texture
Product dimensions (length, width, thickness)
3D Model Requirements:
Single base mesh representing rolled and/or flat yoga mat
Accurate edge radius and thickness profile
UV-mapped for procedural or bitmap texture application
Optimised topology suitable for still renders (no animation required)
Material & Texture:
Physically based material (PBR workflow)
Surface normal/bump map to replicate foam grain texture
Subtle roughness variation to avoid plastic appearance
No branding or printed graphics unless provided separately
Rendering Specifications:
Camera-locked renders to ensure identical angles across all colour variants
3 fixed viewpoints (front 3/4 angle, top view, side profile or agreed angles)
Studio lighting setup with soft key/fill/rim lighting
Neutral shadow plane
Background: pure white (RGB 255/255/255)
Output Files:
Minimum resolution: 2000 × 2000 px per image
Format: PNG or TIFF (no compression artefacts)
One master CG1 model used to generate all colour variants
Colour variations rendered by material override only (no geometry changes)
Quality Standard:

Consistent scale, perspective, and lighting across all outputs
