I want to give my desktop build a bold, futuristic edge by slipping a custom-made plastic cover over each RAM stick. Cooling performance isn’t the focus—this project is all about eye-catching aesthetics—so you’re free to experiment with shapes, surface patterns, and subtle venting details that simply look high-tech rather than actually dissipate heat.
Key requirements
• Style: distinctly futuristic, clean lines and sharp contours preferred over RGB or minimalist themes.
• Material: must be suitable for plastic fabrication (FDM or SLA 3D printing). Keep wall thicknesses and tolerances realistic for those methods.
• Fit: standard DDR4/DDR5 DIMM outline; the cover should slide on securely without fouling neighboring slots or the motherboard shroud.
• Deliverables: print-ready STL files plus the editable CAD source (Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or similar) so I can tweak if needed in the future.
