FreeCAD Opendash-VHM Dashboard Design

Job ID: 40443866

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I have an open-source FreeCAD project on GitHub (https://github.com/landracer/opendash-VHM) that already holds the individual mounting parts for the Opendash-VHM visual hardware manager. What I need now is a clean, production-ready assembly that brings everything together into one printable dashboard plus a detachable 1.75" gauge-pod. the gauge pod must mimic current available podded devices ont he market, similar to autometer gauges in sizing.

The build involves six separate modules: a Waveshare 4.3-inch LCD, a 2.8-inch Waveshare LCD, and three 1.75-inch Waveshare pods. Every board’s buttons and memory-card slots must remain reachable once the pieces are printed and installed. Device clocking is already fixed in the save file; you may reposition components for better ergonomics or cable routing, but do not alter their set orientation.

Because the final parts will be 3D-printed, please design with FDM tolerances in mind—reasonable wall thickness, clearance for fasteners, and minimal unsupported overhangs. The current .FCStd file in the repo shows baseline placement, so you can build directly on that.

Deliverables
• Updated FreeCAD (.FCStd) assembly of the full dashboard and the separate gauge-pod
• STL& STEP exports ready for slicing
• Brief notes on any placement tweaks and recommended print orientation

Acceptance criteria
• All six boards fit securely without stressing connectors
• Buttons and memory-card slots are fully accessible from the front or sides
• No interference with preset clocking angles
-separate single pod for 1.75 gauge, already provided in save file.
-must be uploaded to github, so must be familiar with using github.

Once the test prints confirm those points, the project is complete.
