Family Outdoor Kitchen Blueprint
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m turning part of my backyard into an inviting outdoor kitchen focused on relaxed, everyday family meals. I need a practical yet attractive layout that comfortably fits a gas grill and an under-counter refrigerator, with enough counter space for prep and serving.
Your work should give me a clear, build-ready roadmap:
• Scaled layout showing overall dimensions, traffic flow, and exact placement of the 2 gas grills (one flat top and one traditional grill) and two refrigerators.
• Elevation or 3D view that illustrates height, finishing materials, and how the appliances integrate under the counter
• Basic utility guidance (gas line routing for the grill, electrical outlet location for the fridge, and drainage stub-outs in case I later add a sink)
• Materials and fixtures list with recommended weather-resistant options, noting at least two alternative surface finishes for flexibility (prefer concrete)
• Brief installation notes so my local contractor understands anchoring, ventilation clearances, and countertop support requirements
I already have a flat concrete slab and will send a photo with dimensions of the space; please design to that constraint and keep the aesthetic family-friendly and easy to maintain. A roof is also requested as we are trying to make this useable in all conditions. Deliver the drawings in PDF plus editable source (SketchUp, AutoCAD, or similar) so small tweaks are possible.
