2 Exterior Additions Design for the Same House
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I am an interior designer in US. I need to outsource a full exterior concept for two new living-space additions that will blend seamlessly with my client's home’s existing traditional architecture. Both volumes must read as natural extensions of the house—inside and out—while giving us the extra square footage we need.
Key points to follow
• Style: classic, timeless detailing that respects the original character—think proportioned rooflines, balanced fenestration, and restrained ornamentation.
• Material palette: match the existing materials. Show me how to use it in siding, trim, and accent. Complementary new materials are welcome if they can match with existing portion.
• Function: each addition serves as conditioned living space, so window placement and entry transitions should be addressed.
Deliverables
1. Two exterior massing options with perspective renderings for each addition. One addition is on the right side of the house adding a 2nd layer. Another addition is into the back yard of the house on the opposite side, it will be 2 levels with 1 level that is half basement.
2. Concept only so dimensions we'll need to do some guesses and approximation based on the photos and a few meausures the owner will provide.
3. Need colored renderings.
4. Need final editable source files (JPEG and original CAD/3D source).
I’m happy to answer dimension questions and supply more photos once we start. Potentially have more projects coming for long term collaborations.
