Experienced Maya Animator for Long-term Project
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
Maya Animator Opportunity – Test Animation + Long-Term Collaboration
We are expanding our creative team and are looking for a high-level Maya animator to complete a short test animation, with strong potential for long-term collaboration.
This is part of an ongoing, structured production pipeline — not a one-off project.
What We’re Looking For
* Strong proficiency in Autodesk Maya
* Comfortable working within established production frameworks and version-specific environments (our current pipeline runs in Maya 13)
* Ability to operate as a generalist — modeling, rig adjustments, lighting, scene setup, and rendering as needed
* Clean, efficient animation workflow and graph editor discipline
* Ability to produce high-quality, polished motion
* Capacity to maintain consistent animation quality, branding, and motion style aligned with team standards
* Fast turnaround without sacrificing detail
* Clear communication and professionalism
Evaluation Criteria
We are evaluating:
1. Quality of animation (realism, mechanics, timing, clarity)
2. Consistency with established motion style and visual standards
3. Versatility and problem-solving ability
4. Speed of turnaround
5. Price per animation / batch
6. Ability to follow direction within a structured system
Project Scope
* Short test animation (specific brief provided upon selection)
* Opportunity for consistent, ongoing work
* Large content pipeline with repeatable structure
* Long-term production relationship preferred
We value precision, adaptability, consistency, and efficiency. The ideal candidate can not only animate at a high level, but also integrate seamlessly into a defined visual system while preserving brand continuity across projects.
If you can deliver professional-level work on a reliable schedule and align with an established motion identity, we would love to connect.
Please reply with:
* Portfolio link (Maya-specific work preferred)
* Examples of generalist work (if separate)
* Typical turnaround time for a 10–20 second animation
* Rate structure (hourly or per project)
* Your timezone and availability
Serious inquiries only. We are building a long-term team.
