3d Enclosure Design
Budget: $10 – $50 USD
Design a waterproof enclosure (20×20×10 cm) for Raspberry Pi punch-in/out device (STEP + STL)
I need a custom enclosure design for a punch-in/punch-out device. The enclosure will be used on a wall and must fit electronics inside and expose an NFC reader + display outside.
Target enclosure size: 200 × 200 × 100 mm (approx.)
Inside components to accommodate:
Raspberry Pi 4B (2GB and 4GB variants)
Charger / power supply + wiring
NFC card/tag reader
LCD 2004 display
wires
Required features:
Openable front door (hinge) + waterproof concept (gasket / lip / sealing channel).
Back power entry: a hole/slot to bring in the power cable (preferably sized for a standard cable gland).
Dedicated mounting for Raspberry Pi 4: standoffs and screw holes (or a tray/holder), aligned properly.
Front cutouts:
NFC scanner opening: 10 cm × 6.5 cm, horizontal
Screen opening: 9 cm × 6 cm, vertical
Space for cable routing and airflow (basic ventilation optional if you recommend it).
Deliverables:
Editable CAD: STEP (.stp/.step) + original source file (FreeCAD preferred, but Fusion/Onshape OK if STEP is clean)
STL files for 3D printing (lid/door, body, any brackets)
Basic assembly notes: where screws go, recommended screw sizes, suggested gasket type (if needed)
