Distillery Venue Design
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 AUD
I'm looking for a comprehensive design for a bar and kitchen area in an existing space, using the provided architectural drawings. The design should prioritize furniture layout and traffic flow.
Key Requirements:
- Bar layout and design: Must accommodate service to both indoor and outdoor areas.
- Kitchen layout and design
- Lighting
- Furniture requirements and layout design
- 3D mock-up of designs for review
The design theme should be luxury with earthy elements.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Experience in designing high-end bar and kitchen layouts
- Strong understanding of traffic flow and furniture arrangement
- Proficiency in creating detailed 3D mock-ups
- Knowledge of luxury, earthy design aesthetics
1. Layout proposal for both inside and outside, inside mezzanine area is 9 x 6m (54m2) and the deck is a little over 230m2 – total inside and outside venue area 285.6m2 (not including ramp or toilet block which will be located at ground level / not part of this scope)
a. Below is an example of the issue (picture with barrel furniture), need someone that knows what they are doing to come up with better furniture ideas, low lying seating, seating for smoking area (we are thinking area on far right for that), should there be a lounge type area, how many tables for people to eat at and what type of tables etc, perhaps tables with umbrellas in the bit that has no roof? Not sure.
b. We will have a restaurant built on one end of the deck (6x3m serving simple food in a similar way to the distillery road venue, no cutlery etc), there will be a wood fired pizza oven as part of it
c. There will be handrail all around that is wide enough to rest a plate on it, can have bar chairs around the railing if that works
d. The handrail can have recessed LED strip lighting installed under the handrail
e. What should the bar look like, is it a good idea to make the bar accessible from inside and outside?
f. Should there be seating in the inside area and if so what should it be
g. We need screening in a number of locations to ensure there is no view of house behind the venue, the majority will be blocked by the kitchen, however there is a few areas (see attached updated proposed layout that shows where there needs screening to stop people either seeing house or the neighbour)
h. A location where live music would be able to setup
i. A visual / idea for what to make a very large Little Ridge Distillery sign hanging from the top of the roof at the front (visible from the road and something that people would stand in front of taking photos etc)
2. We have an event in 8 weeks time, our critical path is to sort out a venue design asap in order to purchase the furniture for the cellar door to be used at the event (a music festival)
3. Bonus things that might be good
a. Actual layout of the bar including fridges, ice machines kegs etc, a functional layout design
b. Visual of what to make the kitchen / restaurant building to look like
c. Working with an idea we had that in the uncovered section of the deck to run wires etc from main roof to proposed kitchen and create a live green roof, not sure if this is good idea or not
d. A separate price to actually carry out the work proposed.
