FREELANCER JOB – SITE MEASURE & DRAFTING
(ARARAT VIC)
PROJECT OVERVIEW
I require an experienced draftsperson to prepare accurate, scaled PDF drawings of an existing
residential property in Ararat, Victoria. This project is for subdivision and secondary dwelling
(granny flat) feasibility assessment. I am ready to engage immediately. Same-day turnaround is
preferred if possible.
SCOPE OF WORK
• Scaled Site Plan showing full block dimensions and boundary lengths.
• Total land area.
• Location and external dimensions of existing dwelling.
• Setbacks from house to all boundaries.
• Driveway and crossover location.
• Fencing lines and any visible easements.
• Location of sewer connection and direction (if known).
• Water meter and supply location.
• Stormwater discharge point (if visible/known).
• Power poles, power pits and visible electrical infrastructure.
• Measured floor plan including all room dimensions.
• Door and window locations.
• Wall thickness (internal and external if possible).
DELIVERABLES
• Fully dimensioned PDF site plan (to scale).
• Fully dimensioned PDF floor plan (to scale).
• All measurements in metric.
• Clear, professional layout suitable for builder and feasibility review.
REQUIREMENTS
• Strong drafting skills (AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD or similar).
• Experience with residential site plans.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately.
• Availability to commence immediately.
• Potential for ongoing drafting work for the right person.
