Design Plastic Seaweed Holder
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I need a simple, function-first seaweed holder that can be produced in plastic. My priority is practicality over aesthetics—the piece just has to keep seaweed neatly in place without fuss, whether it ends up in an aquarium, a kitchen, or another setting entirely.
Here’s what I’m looking for:
• A straightforward, utilitarian design with no unnecessary ornamentation.
• Drawings or a 3D file (STL, STEP, or similar) ready for either injection-moulding or 3D printing in standard food-safe or marine-safe plastics.
• Basic assembly or mounting instructions so anyone can set it up quickly.
I’ll review the design against real-world usability—does it grip the seaweed securely, stay stable when wet, and clean easily? If the first concept checks those boxes, we’re good to go; if not, I’d appreciate one round of minor tweaks.
Please let me know if you’ve created similar functional plastic pieces before, and feel free to suggest the best plastic type based on your experience.
