Design Modern Men's Messenger Bag

I’m launching a men’s leather accessories label and the debut piece will be a casual, everyday messenger bag. I need a product designer who can guide the idea from first sketch to factory-ready tech pack.

Here’s the essence:
The bag should feel relaxed yet refined, built from quality leather, sized for a tablet or slim laptop, and organised with multiple compartments so everyday items stay tidy. An adjustable shoulder strap is non-negotiable for cross-body comfort and easy length tweaks on the go. Beyond that I’m open to material palettes, hardware finishes, and subtle design accents that give the piece a distinct, masculine character without sacrificing practicality.

Deliverables I’m after:
• 2-3 initial concept directions with quick sketches
• Refined 2D or 3D renderings highlighting proportions, stitching, and hardware
• A detailed tech pack (measurements, materials, construction notes) ready for sampling
• Leather and trim recommendations plus sourcing notes if you have them
