Design Additional AutoCAD Floor
Budget: $10 – $30 AUD
I already hold the native DWG files for the existing building and now need a full set of drawings that shows one more floor seamlessly stacked on top of what is there. The current structural grid, stair core and service shafts must remain untouched, so I’m looking for someone who can open the files, study the layout and extend the vertical circulation, walls, and services in a way that feels like a natural continuation of the lower level.
I’ll send you the current plans, elevations and section cuts right away. From there, I’d like to work through one or two quick sketch iterations to lock down the room arrangement, then move on to a fully-annotated, layered DWG that is ready for engineering checks.
Deliverables I expect:
• Updated .dwg file (AutoCAD 2020 or earlier) with correct layers, dimensions and annotations
• PDF sheet set for easy review and printing
• A simple 3-D massing view or isometric exported from AutoCAD to confirm heights and roof line alignment
All measurements are in metric and must match the original file’s coordinate system. If you have questions about structural loading or need additional reference material, just let me know and I’ll supply it. Looking forward to seeing how you extend the building upward while keeping the design language consistent.
