DXF to SolidWorks Sheet Models
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I have a collection of DXF drawings that show flat sheets with their intended bend lines. I need each one rebuilt as a native SolidWorks sheet-metal part so I can drop the models straight into presentation renderings and exploded views.
Key points
• Geometry focus: accurate visual representation of every bend and cut according to the pdf assembly file i will alsoprovide
• Workflow: import the DXF, define the sheet-metal parameters, add bends, and save as .SLDPRT.
• File naming: keep the original DXF names so I can trace revisions quickly.
Deliverables
1. One SolidWorks part file for every DXF supplied.
2. Models organised so the bends can still be flattened/unfolded inside SolidWorks for quick call-outs.
3. A short note summarising any DXFs that could not be interpreted exactly (if any).
If you work efficiently with SolidWorks sheet-metal tools and can turn these around quickly, let’s get started.
