Custom Wooden Katana Stand

I own a single katana and want a purpose-built display that combines a sword kit holder and a classic katana stand in one seamless wooden piece. The overall look should echo a Traditional Japanese style—clean, balanced lines with no added ornamentation. A smooth brown or black finish will be perfect; please avoid engravings, painted designs, or inlays of any kind.

I’m not concerned about premium timber: an inexpensive, readily available wood is fine as long as the stand is sturdy and sanded to a neat finish. Feel free to suggest pine, poplar, or any other cost-effective alternative you regularly work with.

To help you size everything correctly, I’ll share my blade length and tsuka measurements once we connect. I’ve gathered several reference photos online for inspiration and will pass them along so you can mirror the proportions I like.
