Custom IT Rack Design
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I'm looking for someone to model a small rack for my home IT equipment. The rack will primarily hold networking equipment and storage devices. It needs to be able to be printed on my Creality Ender 3 Pro S1 (Printable Area: 220mm x 220mm. Maximum Print Height: 270mm) and will need to be modeled in multiple pieces that can be assembled without gluing them. Assembling small "uniform" parts is fine, as is adapting existing designs.
Requirements:
The objective is to hold the devices so they are more secure than just sitting on shelf. But they don't need to be bolted in/down either. They do need good airflow around them - between the devices especially. It doesn't need to be fancy. The simpler and the least plastic used the better. DIY grade is fine, I just can't quite do this myself in TinkerCAD. Feel free to adapt existing designs.
Delivery: STL files that I can slice and print.
It needs to hold the following:
- Top: Ubiquiti Unifi U7 Pro XG Access Point on Top pointed up (rack is the basement and feeds upstairs) - ⌀206 x 32.5 mm
- Middle: Ubiquiti Unifi Cloud Gateway Fiber (connected to the switch below using SFP modules) so this faces "backwards" - 212.8 x 127.6 x 30 mm
- Lower: Ubiquiti Unifi US 8 PoE 150W switch - older unit and with dimensions wider than my printer bed. - 235 x 43 x 204 mm
- Bottom: Air space. Two inches off the shelf it sits on to allow airflow.
All of the switch ports on all of the devices are used up and all of the switch ports face the front so the gateway faces so the little screen points backwards.
