Custom Hook & Receiver Clasp System for Modular Bracelet
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Project Synopsis:
I need a refined, organic hook and receiver clasp system for a premium modular bracelet line (3.8 mm maximum diameter).
Key Requirements:
Hook: Elegant, slightly organic curved shape with a 2 mm ball at the end for a soft “click” lock.
Receiver: Designed to accept the hook smoothly, featuring a C-shaped cavity for the ball and an F-brace for security. Should create a gentle but firm locking feel.
Crimp Tube: Separate modular 7–8.5 mm long tube with ~3.2–3.3 mm inner diameter for leather/silk cord (with internal grip texture if possible).
Jump Ring / Connector: Small universal oval or teardrop jump ring (≈1.8–2.0 mm wire) for modularity.
Technical Constraints: Minimum wall thickness 0.6–0.7 mm (for lost-wax Argentium silver casting). Overall assembly must stay under 3.8 mm to allow beads to slide over.
Style: Clean, elegant, slightly mysterious — refined Art Deco / organic minimalism. No sharp edges, high-end jewelry feel.
Deliverables:
3D models (STEP + native format) of hook, receiver, crimp tube, and jump ring
Assembly views showing how they connect
Basic dimension drawings
This clasp will be the mechanical heart of the entire bracelet ecosystem.
Looking forward to your proposal.
