Logo Design for Capital City Shipping (CCS) – Premium Look with D.C.-Inspired Elements
Project Description for Designers:
I’m opening a mini mailbox and shipping store in Washington, DC – Ward 8, called Capital City Shipping (CCS). I need a professional, high-end logo design that includes both:
A creative logo mark (symbol or visual logo), and
A text-only version using the company name in a clean, premium font.
Design Direction:
I’d like to incorporate inspiration from the Washington, DC flag:
Two horizontal bars (or lines)
Three stars, typically red on a white background
One idea I had is a custom CCS monogram logo, with the name Capital City Shipping underneath.
Something modern and bold, like the CNN logo, where the curves and lines might echo the DC flag elements (e.g., two lines incorporated in the letterforms, or using stars as a stylized accent above or within the “C-C-S”).
Please note: I’m open to other creative interpretations too—as long as it feels clean, modern, and rooted in the DC aesthetic.
Colors & Feel:
Preferred colors: Navy blue, red, white
The overall feel should be premium, polished, and trustworthy—appropriate for a local business center that serves professionals and entrepreneurs.
