Cozy Deck & Pond Design
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I’m redesigning the side of my house and need a complete set of drawings for a ground-floor deck, small pond, and first-floor laundry extension. The main deck footprint is 14 × 8 ft, built from WPC boards on a steel frame. Directly in front of it I’d like to leave a 2 ft strip for a rectangular pond so that part of the deck appears to sit over the water.
Above the deck I want a minimal-look metal awning framed in aluminium (WPC cladding to match the deck is fine if it helps the lines stay clean). On the upper level the same steel framing will continue to form a platform for my laundry area: space for a drying rack plus provision for a washing machine, dryer, sink and a tall cabinet that can hide an ironing board and a bulky Philips steam generator iron.

• Style: minimal, uncluttered lines
• Surface: wood-finish WPC, smooth enough for bare feet yet weather-resistant
• Structure: steel for strength, aluminium trims where visible
Deliverables I need
1. Concept plan showing deck, pond, awning and laundry platform in context with the house
2. 3D visualisations (SketchUp, Revit, or similar) to confirm look and proportions
3. Structural drawings with member sizing for the steel frame and aluminium awning
4. Material schedule and basic installation notes so my contractor can price the job
