Convert Drill Motor PDFs into STL
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m holding a complete set of PDF drawings for an oil-and-gas drilling motor and I need them turned into watertight, print-ready STL files. The parts will be produced on our Ultimaker S5 (dual-extrusion, high-res) and DeltaMaker 2T, so surface quality and dimensional accuracy must match the “High resolution and accuracy” standard I’ve selected.
You may model in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion 360, or any other CAD tool you prefer—what matters to me is the final STL fidelity. I’ll handle slicing in Cura, but I want to drop your files straight in without additional cleanup.
When you reply, include a concise yet detailed project proposal describing:
• how you plan to extract geometry from the PDFs (direct CAD redraw, trace-and-surfacing, hybrid scan workflows, etc.)
• your method for maintaining tolerances and ensuring all features (threads, splines, seals) survive STL export at fine resolution
• milestones and turnaround time for first review and final delivery
Deliverables I expect:
1. Native CAD files (your format of choice) for future edits
2. Clean, manifold STL files for every discrete component, ready for Cura
3. A brief report on critical dimensions and any assumptions made from the 2D source
