Convert DWG to 3D Model
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
I have a single AutoCAD *.dwg containing a mechanical part and need it rebuilt as a clean, watertight 3D file ready for 3D printing. The print will be functional, not merely decorative, so dimensional accuracy matters to check that the part fits.
The final deliverable should be an STL (or OBJ if you feel it is better) that slices without errors and respects the original DWG measurements.
Before final hand-off, I would like to see a quick viewport screenshot or shaded turnaround to confirm scale and general appearance. Once confirmed, send the finished 3D file along with the native project file in case minor tweaks are needed later.
Acceptance criteria:
• All faces manifold and watertight
• Dimensions match the DWG within standard printer tolerances
• File loads directly in 3ds Max and passes slicer checks with zero non-manifold edges
That’s it—looking forward to seeing the part take shape in 3D.
