VR Controller Enclosure Design

Job ID: 40548795

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I have a handheld VR game controller that needs a rigid two-piece clamshell housing. You will receive the controller’s STL, clear reference photos, and all key dimensions. Your job is to turn that information into:

• A TOP and BOTTOM shell that screw together, leaving the button deck, front trigger, and side grip trigger fully exposed.
• Geometry tuned for FDM printing, with sensible clearances, proper wall thicknesses, and built-in posts for standard Phillips screws.
• A clean matte exterior so the part looks professional straight off the printer and can be lightly sanded or painted if I decide to.

Deliverables
1. Print-ready STL files for both halves.
2. Editable source (STEP or native Fusion 360).
3. Up to two revision rounds to fine-tune fit or aesthetics.

I will test the files on my own printer, so please model with practical tolerances in mind; the goal is snap-free assembly on consumer-grade FDM machines.

When you reply, include links to similar enclosure or accessory projects you’ve designed, your fixed price for this scope, and how quickly you can turn the first draft around. I’m ready to start as soon as I find the right fit.
